Why "not jumping" matters so much

Most live captioning systems keep rewriting text that is already on screen — you read half a sentence and the whole thing changes underneath you. On a large venue screen that makes captions genuinely unreadable.

Our stable prefix strategy splits each sentence in two: the confirmed prefix never moves again, and only the active tail updates as recognition advances. What the audience sees is text extending forward, not a paragraph reflowing.

Three states

Captions carry one of three states on screen, visible to the operating team in real time:

  • LIVE — being recognized; the tail can still change
  • STABLE — settled; no further rewriting
  • FINAL — locked, and written to the transcript

Deployment

Available on-site or in the cloud. Where venue connectivity cannot be relied on, the local engine runs fully offline and synchronizes once the network returns.

Engineering

No slogans — only capabilities you can verify

Every item below is something the system genuinely does and you can test on site.

CAP-01

Incremental live captions

Text appears word by word rather than a sentence at a time, so the audience keeps pace with the speaker.

CAP-02

Stable prefix, tail correction

Confirmed text is never rewritten; corrections happen only at the end of the line.

CAP-03

Multi-engine fusion

Several recognition engines run in parallel with the best result selected live; a failing engine is dropped automatically.

CAP-04

Industry glossary

Terms and proper-noun translations are loaded before the event and applied consistently.
